Our Mission:
The Abundant Life Ministry Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, multi-faceted, Christian organization dedicated to ministering to the spiritual, emotional, physical and relational needs of countless women, young adults, teens and children, not only in our local community, but also across the United States, and abroad. In addition, leaders are being raised up, equipped and sent out to model and preserve Spirit-empowered ministry to this and future generations.
Our History:
From the humble beginnings of a home Bible study in the 1970′s, Founder Rev. Sue Willis sensed the call of God on her life to establish Touching the Hem of His Garment Ministries, Inc.™
In 1994, the first monthly women’s fellowship meeting was launched; complete with worship, anointed teachings from the Word of God, and prayer. Many women were brought to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and received Him as their personal Lord and Savior — lives were transformed and healings took place.
Our Present and Our Future:
Today, Touching the Hem of His Garment Ministries, Inc., our founding corporation, is international in scope. Though we have grown and now do business as The Abundant Life Ministry Center, our foundational principles remain steadfast. In His perfect timing, God provided a beautiful facility located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to house and headquarter this growing ministry.
We address many of life’s challenging issues through missions, conferences, retreats, training seminars, workshops, ministry outreaches, small groups, and one-on-one Biblical counsel.
From a home Bible study to the Abundant Life Ministry Center with it’s outstanding Advisory Board, Executive Leadership Team, and growing Volunteer Staff, it is amazing to see all that God has done! In the midst of continued growth and development, our focus still remains on serving God, and we continue to seek His will, His vision, His leading, and His guidance for The Abundant Life Ministry Center.
